I've heard of some stupid ideas in my time and this is simply one more. Delta Township recently sent out fliers to all of the participants in their two, 2008 summer leagues, notifying them of a Winter Kickball Tournament. My team, The Annihilators, as well as virtually every other team in the league suffered numerous injuries from bumps and bruises to a torn achilles' during the summer league alone. Why would we want to tempt fate with an already dangerous game, by adding a increasingly dangerous, cold and icy environment?
Delta Township obviously isn't concerned about how dangerous this could get, because all participants sign waivers, releasing Delta Township of their liability for injuries incurred during these games.
